Warranty Information and No Risk Purchase Policy
Icon Test equipment provides a 90 Day Standard Warranty, unless noted on sale, on all refurbished test equipment. Refurbished equipment comes with a 5-day Acceptance Period to ensure our No Risk Purchase Policy. This policy allows you to BUY WITH CONFIDENCE and to ensure the equipment fully meets your expectations. The warranty and acceptance period begins on the day the equipment is received by the customer. If your test equipment malfunctions during its warranty period, Icon Test Equipment will perform the necessary maintenance or repairs. The customer is responsible for shipping the unit back to Icon. The length of each warranty varies depending on the type of product you purchase; however, extended warranties are available. Contact your Icon sales representative for details. Icon warranties do not cover accidents, modifications, improper or misuse of equipment. Warranties can be voided if warranty or calibration stickers are broken. Please contact Icon before attempting any self repairs.
Warranty Returns
On occasion test equipment may be damaged in shipping. If you notice any problems that occurred in shipping, please take pictures of the box and notify your freight forwarder. If you encounter a problem with test equipment that is clearly not the result of shipping damage, you have the following options:
1. Please notify your Icon salesperson or
2. Fill out the return material authorization (RMA) form in the website. Be sure to provide a complete technical description of the problem.
Once you have received an RMA, customer is responsible for shipping the unit to Icon Test Equipment. You should insure the shipment for the full value of the equipment. After repairing the unit, Icon will pay shipping charges on returning the product. In the rare instance when we are neither able repair or replace it, Icon will issue a refund.
