The MD8480C W-CDMA Signalling Tester has been specifically designed for developing and testing 3GPP user equipment (UE) and application software. Supporting 3GPP Release 7 air interface and W-CDMA HSPA and HSPA Evolution services in a single unit it is the industry’s first HSPA signalling tester and the only one with full HSPA Evolution capability including DL 28 Mbps/UL 11 Mbps maximum data throughput. The MD8480C provides chipset and UE encoding/decoding tests and regression testing as well as protocol sequence tests and also supports application tests (using two MD8480C units). In addition the MD8480C is well suited for the development of globalised UMTS UE and sophisticated application software.
